Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has received a notice from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) demanding ₹26.83 crore as liquidated damages for the alleged non-compliance with minimum network rollout obligations linked to the 2022 spectrum auction.
The telecom operator disclosed the development to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

According to the exchange filing, the notice was issued by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) under the provisions of the Notice Inviting Applications (NIA) 2022.
