HealthCare Global Enterprises (HCG) has announced that its subsidiary, HCG Manavata Oncology LLP, will acquire a 26% equity stake in Epic Vighnaharta Renewable Energy Private Limited (EVRE) for an aggregate consideration of ₹38 lakh.
The investment is aimed at enabling HCG’s subsidiary to qualify as a captive user of renewable power, allowing it to source electricity from EVRE’s upcoming 1.3 MWp solar power project located in Mangalwedha, Solapur district, Maharashtra.
According to the company, the transaction will result in HCG holding an indirect 26% interest in EVRE, strengthening its commitment toward clean energy adoption and sustainability initiatives.
EVRE is engaged in the development of renewable energy projects, primarily focusing on solar power generation. The project is expected to support HCG’s long-term energy efficiency and green energy goals.
