Mumbai, August 4, 2026: BSE Limited has reported a strong set of financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), reflecting robust growth in profitability and steady expansion in income.
The exchange posted a consolidated net profit of ₹872.66 crore, marking a significant increase from ₹538.17 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, representing a year-on-year growth of nearly 62%. The company’s total income rose to ₹1,706.72 crore, compared to ₹1,044.45 crore in the same period last year, driven by higher revenue from operations and improved investment income.
On a standalone basis, BSE also reported strong performance, with profit for the quarter rising in line with operational growth across its core business segments, including trading facilitation and related services.
In addition to the financial results, the Board of Directors approved key strategic decisions during its meeting held on August 4, 2026. The board cleared the proposal to increase BSE’s direct shareholding in India International Bullion Holding IFSC Limited (IIBH) from 3.33% to 20% through a secondary acquisition from its subsidiaries. Following the transaction, IIBH will become a direct associate company of BSE Limited, strengthening its presence in the GIFT IFSC bullion ecosystem.
The board also approved the appointment of M/s KKC & Associates LLP as the statutory auditors of the company for a five-year term, subject to shareholder approval. The firm will succeed the current auditors upon completion of their term.
The meeting commenced at 3:50 PM and concluded at 5:30 PM on the same day.
BSE stated that the financial results and key decisions reflect its continued focus on strengthening market infrastructure, expanding strategic investments, and enhancing governance standards.
