Power Grid Q1 FY27 Net Profit Declines 6.6%
POWERGRID reported a standalone net profit of ₹3,410.95 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared to ₹3,653.23 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, reflecting a 6.6% year-on-year decline.
On a consolidated basis, the company posted a net profit of ₹3,598.42 crore, marginally lower than ₹3,630.58 crore reported in Q1 FY26.
Revenue from Operations
Standalone revenue from operations stood at ₹9,795.40 crore, compared to ₹9,928.23 crore in the year-ago period.
Consolidated revenue increased to ₹11,496.72 crore, up from ₹11,196.22 crore in Q1 FY26, supported by contributions from subsidiaries.
Profit Before Tax
Power Grid’s standalone profit before tax (PBT) came in at ₹4,246.32 crore, compared with ₹4,172.27 crore a year earlier.
The company reported total standalone income of ₹11,370.04 crore, while total expenses stood at ₹7,123.72 crore during the quarter.
