A large wave of pre-listing shareholder lock-ins is set to expire in the coming quarter, potentially adding volatility to Indian equities. Housing finance company Sammaan Capital (formerly Indiabulls Housing) has successfully raised $300 million (around ₹2,600 crore) through a three-year bond issuance to overseas investors at a coupon rate of 8.95%. An incident of cloudburst was reported late Friday night in Tharali tehsil of Chamoli district, leaving behind widespread destruction and at least two people missing, officials said.
