Vikran Engineering Limited has received a Notification of Award from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited for an EPC contract worth ₹459.20 crore for the 400 MW AC solar project at Chitrakoot-1, Uttar Pradesh. The project is awarded on a balance of system (BOS) basis and includes inland transportation, insurance, installation, testing, commissioning, and guarantee tests.
The contract, which is domestically awarded, is scheduled to be executed over a 12-month period. The project forms part of NTPC Renewable Energy’s ongoing initiative to develop grid-connected solar PV capacity in Uttar Pradesh.
Vikran Engineering confirmed that the promoters and promoter group have no interest in NTPC Renewable Energy, and the contract does not qualify as a related party transaction.
This marks a significant addition to Vikran Engineering’s portfolio in the renewable energy sector, strengthening its presence in large-scale solar EPC projects.
