Vikram Solar announced on Friday that it has won a solar module supply contract for NTPC’s Khavda project in Gujarat, totaling 397.7 MWp.
According to a company statement, Vikram Solar has secured the module supply order from NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, and these modules will be used to power a significant portion of the 1,255 MW Khavda Solar Project in Gujarat.
The project is in line with the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR), underlining the company’s commitment to enhancing India’s domestic solar manufacturing capabilities, the statement noted.
