The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET December 2025 admit card for candidates appearing in the examination scheduled on 31 December 2025. The national-level eligibility test will be conducted between 31 December 2025 and 7 January 2026 in computer-based test (CBT) mode across the country.
The UGC NET exam on December 31 will be held for subjects including Law, Social Work, Telugu, Tourism Administration and Management, Spanish, Prakrit, Kashmiri and Konkani.
Candidates must download and carry the admit card to the examination centre, as entry will not be permitted without a valid hall ticket.

Step 3: Log in using Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin
Step 4: Download the admit card and take a printout for future reference

UGC NET December 2025 Exam Dates
According to an official notice dated 27 December, the UGC NET December 2025 examination will be conducted for 85 subjects on the following dates:
- 31 December 2025
- 2 January 2026
- 3 January 2026
- 5 January 2026
- 6 January 2026
- 7 January 2026
The exams will be held in CBT mode at designated centres nationwide.
Important Instructions
The NTA has advised candidates to carefully check all details mentioned on the admit card. In case of any discrepancy or difficulty in downloading the hall ticket, candidates should contact the NTA helpdesk.
“For any difficulty in downloading the admit card or discrepancy in the particulars contained therein, candidates may contact the NTA Helpdesk at 011-40759000 or write to ugcnet@nta.ac.in,” the notification stated.
It is noteworthy that the advance examination city intimation slip was released earlier on 20 December 2025.
