Boosted by impressive March quarter (Q4) results, the share price of Thermax surged by as much as 14 percent, reaching a fresh record high of ₹5,347 in early trading on the BSE on Wednesday, May 15.
Thermax’s stock opened at ₹4,725, compared to its previous close of ₹4,692.45, and swiftly rose by 14 percent to achieve its peak at ₹5,347.15. However, the stock later retreated from these highs.
By around 9:30 am, Thermax’s share price was trading 8.54 percent higher at ₹5,093 each. Meanwhile, the equity benchmark Sensex was up by 0.10 percent, reaching 73,175 at the same time.
