LTIMindtree Vice Chairman SN Subrahmanyan will assume the role of Chairman on June 27, following the resignation of AM Naik from the board, the company announced on June 26. Earlier, It was reported that Naik, also the Chairman Emeritus of Larsen & Toubro, would be stepping down as the non-executive chairman and board member of L&T Technology Services Ltd (LTTS).
The company acknowledged Naik’s significant contributions, noting that under his leadership, LTIMindtree transformed into a focused global conglomerate. Naik’s tenure saw the creation of the Larsen & Toubro Employee Trust (LTET), the largest shareholder of the company, and he played a pivotal role in diversifying and streamlining L&T’s business portfolio.
Naik reflected on his tenure with pride, highlighting the growth of L&T Infotech into the IT services giant LTIMindtree. Subrahmanyan, known as SNS, has been with the company since January 10, 2015, and became vice chairman on May 4, 2017. He played a crucial role in the acquisition of Mindtree in 2019 and the subsequent merger of L&T Infotech and Mindtree.
Subrahmanyan expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead LTIMindtree and praised Naik’s legacy. He committed to upholding the company’s values of trust, customer focus, timely delivery, quality, people-centricity, and professionalism.
