Technical View
- Nifty has filled the gap from August 18 and is slightly above the 100-SMA, remaining well above the 200-SMA, but below short-term moving averages (9-EMA, 20-EMA, 50-SMA), indicating near-term momentum is under pressure.
- Support levels: 24,600 (100-SMA) and 24,500
- Resistance levels: 24,900–25,000
The IT and banking sectors were the biggest drags, while mid and small-cap stocks followed weaker trends.
