Saatvik Green Energy on Friday announced that it has bagged an additional contract worth ₹16.74 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for deploying off-grid solar water pumps across the state.
With this latest win, the company’s cumulative orders from MSEDCL have risen to 1,815 solar water pumps, with a total contract value of ₹30.24 crore, excluding GST, according to an official statement.
The project, awarded under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM-KUSUM-B scheme, involves the end-to-end execution of 1,000 off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems. This includes their design, manufacturing, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning at designated farmer locations in Maharashtra.
Commenting on the development, Prashant Mathur, CEO of Saatvik Green Energy, said the additional order highlights the accelerating traction in the company’s solar pump segment and underscores MSEDCL’s trust in Saatvik’s delivery and operational strength.
Saatvik Green Energy currently operates a 4.8 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Ambala, Haryana, and is in the process of setting up a greenfield integrated manufacturing unit in Odisha. The upcoming facility will have a capacity of 4 GW for modules and 4.8 GW for solar cells, further reinforcing the company’s footprint as a vertically integrated clean energy manufacturer with operations across multiple locations.
