The Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), the country’s largest commodity derivatives exchange, experienced a technical glitch on Monday, leading to a delay in the start of trading.
In a notice published on its website, MCX informed members that trading will commence at 9:30 AM, instead of the regular 9:00 AM opening time.
“Members are requested to note that trading will start at 9:30 AM due to a technical issue. Trading will start from DR. Inconvenience is regretted,” the exchange said in its statement.
Further details regarding the nature of the issue are awaited.
