Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced that its Heavy Engineering division has secured multiple significant orders valued between ₹1,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore from both international and domestic clients.
Global Orders in Oil, Gas, and Fertiliser Segments
On the international front, L&T’s heavy engineering arm received several key contracts across major markets:
- In the United States, it will manufacture vessels for an NGL fractionator project and cartridges for a blue ammonia project in Louisiana.
- In Mexico, it secured orders for ammonia and urea processing equipment for two fertiliser plants.
- In Brazil, the company won contracts to supply critical heat exchangers for the replacement market.
- From Saudi Arabia, it received an order linked to a refinery and integrated petrochemical complex, marking an amendment to an existing contract involving the HOFCC reactor and regenerator revamp.
Domestic and Nuclear Power Orders
In the nuclear power segment, the company bagged new orders to supply critical components for ongoing and upcoming domestic and international nuclear projects.
Domestically, L&T’s Heavy Engineering vertical also secured contracts for four units of its proprietary 2RK65 Heat Exchanger Package for a 3 MMTPA PTA7 project at Dahej, Gujarat.
L&T Share Price Movement
Shares of Larsen & Toubro Ltd hit an intraday high of ₹3,966 on Tuesday. The stock has gained 7.21% year-to-date (YTD), reflecting sustained investor confidence in the company’s order pipeline and execution strength.
