The Delhi High Court is set to review a petition urging the postponement of the ICAI CA May Intermediate and Final Exams 2024 on April 8, 2024. Advocate Anubha Srivastava Sahai disseminated this update via her social media channels. Over the last 25 days, students, CA professionals, and various student organizations have been urging the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to reschedule the CA Intermediate and Final Exams from May to June.
Despite numerous appeals, including an open letter to PM Modi and petitions addressed to the Election Commission of India (ECI), ICAI has remained silent on the matter of postponing the exams. Representing 16 states and one Union Territory, a group of CA students, including those with disabilities, has approached the Delhi High Court seeking a deferral of the CA examinations.
