The Delhi High Court will hear a petition today regarding the postponement of the ICAI CA May Intermediate and Final Exams 2024. As the 18th Lok Sabha general elections approach, CA aspirants have been urging the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) to reschedule the exams from May to June.
In the past month, students, CA experts, and various student organizations have been advocating for the rescheduling of the CA Intermediate and Final Exams for 2024 to June, instead of their originally scheduled dates in May.
Despite ICAI’s efforts to avoid potential clashes with the upcoming elections, many CA aspirants remain unsatisfied with the adjusted exam timetable. They are pushing for the exams to be postponed to June due to concerns related to the elections. Child activist Anubha Srivastava Sahai is supporting CA students in their endeavor to address this issue in court.
The revised schedule for the CA Intermediate exams indicates that Group 1 will now be held on May 3, 5, and 9, while Group 2 will take place on May 11, 15, and 17. Similarly, for the CA Final exams, Group 1 will be conducted on May 2, 4, and 8, and Group 2 on May 10, 14, and 16.
