Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) announced on December 26, 2025, the incorporation of a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary, Ecothrive Renewables Limited (ERL), through its subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Holding Eleven Limited (AREH11L).
ERL, registered with the Registrar of Companies in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, has an authorized and paid-up capital of ₹1 lakh and has yet to commence business operations. The new entity will operate in the renewable energy sector, focusing on the generation, development, transmission, distribution, and sale of power using solar, wind, and other renewable sources.
The incorporation of ERL is fully controlled by AREH11L, which holds 100% of the company’s share capital. No cash or share swap transactions were involved, and there are no related party concerns as ERL is a newly formed subsidiary.
AGEL highlighted that ERL’s establishment is aimed at strengthening its presence in the renewable energy segment and expanding its capabilities in clean power generation.
